The results confirm unequivocally that our products are free from Saccharomyces cerevisiae, affirming their purity and the reliability of our lab tests.

In regular Saccharomyces cerevisiae, the DNA of Saccharomyces cerevisiae is readily detectable using molecular biology techniques such as PCR.

Purified Saccharomyces cerevisiae typically refers to yeast-derived products that have been purified to remove intact cells and many cellular components. Purification processes aim to reduce or eliminate detectable DNA, making it undetectable by sensitive techniques like PCR. To detect purified Saccharomyces cerevisiae, microscopic analysis is required.

Why Would Saccharomyces cerevisiae Affect Beta-Glucan Content?
Beta-glucans are naturally occurring polysaccharides, recognized for their immune-enhancing properties, found in various natural sources, including mushrooms and yeasts like Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
