Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a 9 x 13 baking tin. |

Melt the butter and leave to completely cool. |

Mix the butter and sugar until smooth. |

Add the vanilla, eggs and mushroom powder to the sugar and butter mix, stir until incorporated. |

Next, mix in the flour, baking powder, sea salt and stir until thoroughly combined. |

Fold in your chopped dates and pecans. |

Pour into your baking tin and bake in the centre of the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a knife comes out clean. |

Leave to cool completely then remove from the tin. |

Store in an airtight container and enjoy! |
